This piece is inspired by the symbolic representation the Sun by practically every culture since and before civilisation existed. The images features European Neolithic & Bronze Age, Norse, Ancient Celtic, Ancient African, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Abyssinian, Babylonian, Macedonian, numerous Mesoamerican, Mayan, Aztech and more symbols, surrounding the 12 signs of the zodiac (which inspired the clock we use today) orbiting our solar system, all on a backdrop of the Catseye Nebulae (NGC 6543).
